Report on Ordinance No. 17 of 1901.

I have examined the accompanying Ordinance, entitled "An Ordinance to authorize the Appropriation of a Supplementary Sum of Five hundred and fifty-nine thousand nine hundred and ninety-one Dollars and seventy-eight Cents, to defray the Charges of the Year 1900"

and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to the Governor's Instructions, and that the Royal Assent may properly be given thereto.
